Our story
Experience is the foundation of reliability. Our story began on Long Island, where Shawn Abitz mastered the trade at Installation Specialties, Inc., his father’s specialized integration shop. From the early era of TV antennas and high-fidelity audio to the first generation of custom home theaters, Shawn learned the technical discipline and "white-glove" standards required for high-end residential estates.
In New York City, KB established a reputation for delivering meticulous technical solutions and sophisticated service for the city’s most demanding properties. When they transitioned to North Carolina, they combined these decades of New York precision with the values of Charlotte hospitality to form Automated AV.
